This is the official notification for the proposed change in the bylaws as mentioned and voted on at the July meeting.
1) The voting date for new officers will be changed from the December meeting to the November meeting.
2) The dates for floor nominations and member-at-large shal be change to October.
Ammendment to Article VI line 6 from:
1. The election of Officers as presented by the Nominating Committee will be conducted by Secret Ballot. Confirming the election of Officers will be done only at the December Meeting.
TO:
1. The election of Officers as presented by the Nominating Committee will be conducted by Secret Ballot. Confirming the election of Officers will be done only at the November Meeting.
Ammendment to Article VIII line 3 from:
1. A Nominating Committee consisting of Three (3) Members shall be appointed with the purpose of presenting nominations for President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. This Committee shall be selected at the September meeting and shall present its nominations at the October meeting. Nominations from the floor shall be accepted during the November meeting. Nominations for Member-At-Large shall only be accepted from the floor at the November meeting.
TO:
