Hi everyone, just keeping in contact with everyone over this miserable winter. I hope the summer is as good as the winter was bad. Want lots of good flying. As I sit here thinking of all the half finished projects I was going to build this winter one thing comes to mind; we need to have 8 day weeks, that way I can find the time I need to complete my airplanes.
On another note, I want to thank Mike Montana for stepping up as the safety coordinator for the club. Mike has lots of enthusiasm and will recruit several good people. Let’s all remember that safety is always a high concern. Don’t be afraid to tell your flying buddy if you think they are doing something unsafe. All the rules are posted on the back of the frequency board for anyone to reference along with it being available on our web page.
I hope everyone has been busy with winter projects for the SSS Expo in April. I hope to see lots of cool airplanes there. We might break it out into four categories this year and we will announce it at the meeting.
Dave is taking reservations for the Group trip to the “Connecticut air museum” which sounds like a real good trip. $35.00 covers transportation and entrance fee. Call Dave Rollino if you are interested. It all happens on April 17th at 7:00am.
Well that’s about it for now.
Thanks
Tony Rossi
SSS President
